Antwerp, Arkona record strong wins in round 10 tennis
Round 10 of the Dimboola District Tennis Association saw more tennis played than round nine.

Antwerp hosted Rainbow and the Hopetoun V Arkona match moved to Friday night.
Antwerp V Rainbow
A snake on the court didn’t slow Antwerp down at all during the mixed, with the home side winning all four set for 36 games to Rainbows 11 games.
The men’s and women’s sections were much the same with Antwerp just too strong for Rainbow, claiming all four sets for 36 games in each section to Rainbow’s seven games.
Overall, Antwerp took home the five match points, 12 sets and 108 games to Rainbows 25 games.

In the mixed, it was all Arkona, claiming all four sets for 36 games to Hopetoun’s 14 games.
Women’s section though with Hopetoun proving too strong, winning all four sets for 36 games to Arkona’s 16 games.
Overall, Arkona won the night with four match points, eight sets and 88 games to Hopetoun’s one match point, four sets and 52 games.

Saturday saw the remaining two matches be played. Jeparit hosting Dimboola and Brim hosting Warracknabeal.
Jeparit V Dimboola
In the mixed, some tough matches were played, but it was Dimboola that took out the section, winning the four sets for 36 games to Jeparit’s 16 games.
In the Men’s again there were some close games, but Dimboola proved too strong claiming the four sets for 36 games to Jeparit’s 16 games. In the Women’s, again some tough games were played, but Dimboola proved why they’re on top going into the break taking all four sets for 36 games to Jeparit’s 17 games.

Overall, Dimboola took home all five match points, 12 sets and 108 games to Jeparit’s 49 games.
Brim V Warracknabeal
was Warracknabeal too strong claiming all four sets for 36 games to Brim’s16 games.
Overall, Brim won the day claiming 3.5 match points for 6 sets and 82 games to Warracknabeal’s 1.5 match points, 6 sets and 76 games.
