Students in Grades 3 - 6 rotated through a range of field events, including long jump, triple jump, discus, and shot put, showing impressive skill, determination and enthusiasm throughout the day.

Meanwhile, students in Prep - Grade 2 enjoyed their own activities, including an obstacle course, egg-and-spoon races, and tunnel ball, which kept everyone active and smiling.

The program then moved to the track, where students competed in hurdles, sprints and relay events.

Across all year levels, the day was filled with strong participation, encouragement and excellent sportsmanship.

Despite a few refreshing showers and gusts of wind, the weather held out, allowing the full program to be completed successfully.

The day ended with a teachers-versus-students race. In a spirited finish, the teachers proved they still had plenty of speed left, taking the win and delighting the crowd.

Congratulations to Borung (Blue) House, who claimed the overall victory on the day. Wimmera (Red) House finished a close second, followed by Henty (Green) House.

Warracknabeal Primary School would like to thank everyone who contributed to making the day such a success, from those assisting in the canteen to volunteers helping with timing and event coordination.

Their support ensured the event ran smoothly and was greatly appreciated.
