Community action grants open
Round Two of the Hindmarsh Shire Council Community Action Grants Program has just opened and will be another opportunity for community groups and non-profit organisations to host community events, purchase necessary equipment, and carry out minor upgrades to facilities.
There are three categories available for funding applications, Community Assistance, Event Sponsorship and Small Equipment.
Applicants are encouraged to read the guidelines and speak with a member of Council’s team about their project prior to applying.
Outcome notifications will be in May.
Application documents, guidelines, and all other necessary information will be available on Hindmarsh Shire Council’s website and can either be downloaded or completed online at hindmarsh.vic.gov.au/Apply-for-Grants – applications will be open until 5pm Friday, April 10.
Successful applicants will have until September 30, 2026, to complete their project and acquit their funding.
