They played Dimboola at Anzac Park last Saturday and were defeated 58 to 31.

Dimboola got off to a brilliant start, up by 13 at the end of the first quarter, and headed into half-time with an advantage of 10 goals.

They then outscored their opposition seven to 16 in quarter three, before another dominant quarter saw Dimboola claim the victory by 27.

Ashlynn McKenzie, who played in centre and wing attack, was in form for the Eagles, despite them losing, along with centre/wing defence Leiah McKenzie.

Bridget Dorrington, who stuck on many bibs during the game, including goal keeper, goal defence and wing defence, was named best on court for the victors, along with centre Rianna Kuhne.

This Saturday Dimboola will face Stawell, who are below them on the ladder.

Stawell have only had the one win this season, compared to losing six times.

Their only win was against Minyip Murtoa by seven back on April 26.
