Dimboola tops round four results
Round four of the Dimboola District Tennis Association began on Friday night, with two matches taking place: Dimboola versus Arkona and Antwerp versus Warracknabeal.

Meanwihle, on Saturday saw the final two matches of round four take place, as Jeparit travelled to Hopetoun and Brim to Rainbow.
[CROSSHEAD]Rainbow v Brim
In the mixed Brim proved too strong for Rainbow, claiming more sets even though there were only two games in it.
In the end Brim 3 sets 29 games to Rainbows 1 set 27 games.
In the men’s all games were close, with Rainbow coming out on top, winning 3 sets 32 games to Brim 1 set 26 games.
In the women’s Rainbow kicked it up a gear, claiming all four sets for 36 games to Brim 0 sets 20 games.

In the mixed, with only four games separating them, it was Jeparit to take the points 3 sets 43 games to Hopetoun 3 sets 39 games.
In the men’s there was another close one, with again Jeparit claiming the points by four games: Jeparit 3 sets 42 games to Hopetoun 3 sets 38 games.
In the women’s, continuing the close day, it was Hopetoun who edged out Jeparit to take the points with 4 sets 47 games to Jeparit 2 sets 31 games.
Overall, Hopetoun won the night, claiming 3 match points 10 sets 124 games to Jeparit 2 match points 8 sets 116 games.

In the mixed, Dimboola claimed the win, winning all 6 sets 54 games to Arkona’s 22 games.
In the men’s, much like the mixed, it was again Dimboola with the 6 sets 54 games to Arkona’s 20 games.
In the women’s Arkona fought back, taking two sets off the home side, but it wasn’t enough, with Dimboola winning the women’s 4 sets 47 games to Arkona 2 sets 31 games.
Overall, Dimboola won the night 5 match points 16 sets 152 games to Arkona zero match points 2 sets 73 games.

In the mixed Antwerp claimed the win, winning 4 sets 48 games to Warracknabeal’s 2 sets 34 games.
In the men’s, much like in the mixed, Antwerp claimed 4 sets 45 games to Warracknabeal’s 2 sets 37 games.
In the women’s, the four sets to two theme continued, with Antwerp claiming this section as well, 4 sets 50 games to Warracknabeal’s 2 sets 34 games.
Overall, Antwerp won the night 5 match points 12 sets 143 games to Warracknabeal 0 match points 6 sets 105 games.
