The A division winner was Paul Baldock with a score of 88-16-72, and runner-up was Mick Polycarpou with 88-15-73.

B division winner was Daniel Danisch with 92-25-67, and runner-up was Gary Farrow with 102-34-68.

So, the June monthly medal winner, with the best score of the day, was Daniel Danisch.

Congratulations, Daniel, and congratulations to all the day's winners.

NTPs: no-one on the 4th, Paul Baldock on the 18th, and the money hole 13th was won by Josh Cook.

The club passes on a big thank you to Stoph and Meran from the Dimboola Vic Hotel for sponsoring the monthly medal every month.

Last week 19 members played a stroke round on Saturday May 24.

The winner of the day was John Guerin with a fantastic score of 95-29-66 points and the runner-up was one of the new and youngest members, Edward Schorback, with a great score of 105-37-68.

Thank you to Warracknabeal Butchers for sponsoring last week's event.

NTPs: no-one on the 4th, and Bob Richard won on the 18th and the Money Hole 13th.

There was a playoff for the singles knockout: Glen Ross defeated Ross Howlett 3/2.

Next week's event will be on Saturday June 7: a stableford round and the second round of the singles knockout.

On Sunday May 25 the Community & Traders Golf Day was held, very generously sponsored by Dimboola Taxis.

Eleven teams of three competed in an ambrose “with a twist”, and the twist was that the players rolled the dice after they'd all had their drives, and they had to take the drive of the player with the corresponding dice roll – which could be GREAT or it could be TRAGIC.

It was a great turnout and a beautiful day for a fun round of golf.

The winners for the day, each winning a $50 voucher to be spent at any of the club sponsors, were Rick Day, Glen Ross and Jye Ross, with a great score of 49-13 1/3- 35 2/3, on a countback, with the runners-up (each winning a $25 voucher at any of the sponsors) Sam Leith, Will Griffiths and Evan Hunter with a score of 48 - 12 1/3 - 25 2/3 also.

Third place went to Ross Howlett, Peter Frecker and Mark Plant with 49-13-36.

A big thank you to the sponsor of the day, Dimboola Taxis, and the volunteers who helped make the day a success.
