Horsham Gold Croquet Club will hold itc come-and-try day this Sunday.

Located in William Guilfoyle Drive between Horsham Botanical Gardens and Horsham Lawn Tennis Club, new players will get an introduction to the game, followed by gameplay and tea to finish the day.

Donna Frost, a life member of Horsham Croquet Club, says it is a great opportunity for people to learn a new game and socialise with others.

“We’re looking for people to come along and have a game,” Frost said.

“We'll be there to give them some tuition, we'll have a little game after that, have a cupper, and then you can decide whether you want to come back again and have another try.

“It was very successful last year, where we got seven new members out of it.

“I’d like to think we could get a nice group of people to come down and have a try again this year.”

For any enquiries or questions about the day, contact either secretary Rachel Cousins on 0418 553 192 or president June Liddy on 0422 509 796.
