Mass marks new year
Staff and pupils of St Joseph's Catholic Primary School came together with the parish community recently for their beginning of school year mass.
St Joseph’s School Hopetoun marked the start of the year with a special mass, bringing together students, staff and parish families.
An important opportunity for the entire school community to join in prayer at the beginning of the new school year, the group gathered for God's blessing for the next 12 months.
Foundation pupils, new families and staff were especially welcomed, with all new students receiving a prayer book to acknowledge the commencement of their journey at school.
Following the mass, families stayed for a meal, providing a special time to connect, build relationships and strengthen the sense of belonging within the school.
