Whippy gets cracking in Kaniva
On February 4, Kaniva residents enjoyed a performance by world record holder Nathan 'Whippy' Griggs.

The free event, held at Kaniva Recreation Reserve, was organised by West Wimmera Shire Council.
The program featured precision tricks, comedy, and demonstrations with various types of whips.
Children danced as Griggs performed to music, and volunteers were invited on stage to learn whip-cracking, which received enthusiastic applause.
Griggs, a five-time Guinness World Record holder from the Northern Territory, concluded his tour of Western Australia, South Australia, and Victoria in Kaniva.
“It was fantastic to see so many people come together for a night of entertainment in Kaniva,” Council CEO David Bezuidenhout said.
“Events like this provide opportunities for families to connect, support local clubs and enjoy something different close to home.”
Kaniva Cricket Club and Kaniva Leeor United Football Netball Club supported the event.
