Hindmarsh Shire residents are encouraged to respond to the municipality's proposed Economic Development Strategy 2024–2028.
Council resolved at its monthly meeting last Wednesday to make a draft of the plan available to the public for the next four weeks.
The 57-page document is now available as a PDF for downloading from council's website.
Submissions will be accepted until 5pm on Thursday November 23, and will be considered at the final monthly council meeting for this year on December 13.
The draft was prepared after council sought input from the community in late March and early April this year.
It takes into account the current economic foundation of the shire in four key areas: people, employment and socio-economic wellbeing, housing and economic output.
The status of each of these themes is given in the strategy document.
