Ahead of Dimboola Memorial Secondary College (DMSC) celebrating its centenary on Saturday May 25, former students have shared some memories and photos to be published.

Lasting friendships

Jane Edmonson, Jane Robertson and John Shanahan all taught at Dimboola Memorial High School in 1974 and, 50 years later, their friendship is still thriving.

Mr Shanahan taught at the school for about 25 years, teaching graphic communications, metalwork and woodwork.

Both Mrs Edmonson and Mrs Robertson taught English, geography and social studies and were at the school for five or six years.

The trio have remained friends with Kevan Porter, who was a deputy principal at the school.

Mrs Edmonson is a presenter on the long-running television program Gardening Australia each Friday on the ABC.
